Lenzeye's Collaboration module is a location-aware professional network built specifically for the Indian photography industry. It connects photographers, models, makeup artists, studio owners, and other creative professionals — filtered by role, state, district, and city.

How It Works

  1. Set your profile — choose your role (Photographer, Model, StudioOwner, Videographer, etc.) and your location (state, district, city).
  2. Submit a request — specify what kind of collaborator you need and where.
  3. Get matched — Lenzeye finds users matching the target role and location.
  4. Send invites — email invitations are sent to matched professionals.
  5. Schedule — confirm the collaboration and set a date.

Location Filtering

Collaboration requests are filtered by:

  • State — broad region filter
  • District — city-group filter
  • City — precise local match
  • Travel distance — users set a maximum distance (km) they are willing to travel

This ensures matches are genuinely reachable, not just geographically nearby on a map.

File Sharing Within Collaboration

Beyond finding collaborators, Lenzeye also supports shared file access:

  • A registered user can grant another user access to a specific folder or file in their storage
  • Shared access is managed via the FileAccess table — per-folder, per-user grants
  • Orientation-aware sharing — portrait or landscape mode can be set per shared gallery project

Current Status

The Collaboration module is live. Users can submit requests, receive matches, and send invitations. The scheduling and notification systems are functional.
